Link for "Debt - Pay My Jailer" not functioning on larimer.org/sheriff/jail/inmate-money

AGAthearn 3 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago 1

Does not go to user info or payment options.  Points instead to an advertisement for the payment software package, meant for Jail Administration.

Just reached out the Sheriff's Team - There is no online option to make payments so they have updated the page with the phone number (866-494-8556) to call to use the service. Thanks for the heads up Amy.

Problem posting the election results with identification only by number is a problem.

Reverend Doctor James Burnett 3 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago 1

Sirs:  Posting the election results with the only identification being by number leaves me unable to interpret the results.  Most voters do not retain the numbers versus bill name or description, so these numbers only are non-meaningful to a lot of voters.  At least put in the bills name!

Thank you Reverend Doctor,

We agree the the results were missing that key info, though they were the results as output by our ballot system, so we have added a key. At the top of the results page I've added a key that provides more detail for each of the Candidates/Questions/Issues.

There is a link at the top of the Results page: https://www.larimer.org/clerk/elections/results

or you can visit it directly: https://www.larimer.org/clerk/elections/results/ballot-key

Again, thank you for the feedback.

Link to Track Your Vote does not work

sneiman380 3 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago 1

Link to Track Your Vote on the https://www.larimer.org/clerk/elections web page goes to Check Registration and does not go to any type of page that allows me to track my vote.

Answer
Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago

Hello and thanks for the feedback.

The voter registration lookup is hosted on Colorado's state site. By providing the information asked on that page, the lookup provides a status of your ballot. If it is not cast yet, then the message is 'No results found'

If you have more questions, please let me know.

Mirror Lake conference room is listed on both the 4th Floor (452) and 5th Floor (561).  The Floor Layout map shows it on the 4th Floor (444).

live broadcasts of hearings

bcreevans 3 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago 2

tried using the county site on my mobile phone and on laptop at home.  Once I finally found the live broadcast (which is not easy to find AT ALL!), the audio didn't play.  There was no sound, despite having all volume settings turned up.  It said I was listening to the planning commission hearing....but that was only wishful thinking.   DO NOT LIKE THE NEW WEBSITE AT ALL!  I saw other comments referring to the legacy site, so tried to get the broadcast to work there...same result.  Big thumbs down on this. Have heard feedback from others as well that this is not a easy to use site and not easy to find the information that you are looking for.  The search function is poor too.    Not a happy citizen here fyi

Get a "Non-computer person" to review the function of the whole site, which is really bad!

Can't even find info on how to register and get plates for a simple utility trailer. Government in action!!!!!

Answer
Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago

Hello Dave,

I am sorry that finding information on registration / plates for the utility tailer was not easy to come by.

I found the following page:  https://www.larimer.org/clerk/vehiclelicensing/resources/manufactured-trailers which may have some of the information you are looking for. If not you can give them a call at (970) 498-7878 or send them a note using the contact form: https://www.larimer.org/contact (select 'Vehicle Licensing' as the group who should receive your note, as it sends the note directly to them)

Finding the info:

A few different paths, same page:

  • I initially found the page above by clicking the magnifying glass in the top right corner, then searching for 'utility trailer' and it was the first result
  • Another good place to start when on the hunt for a service/department is the Department listings. From the front page I clicked on 'Our County' in the top menu,  then 'Departments and Offices'. On that page the departments are listed in alphabetical order - you can search at the top or browse - I clicked Vehicle Licensing. The top of the page are buttons that link most used services, below are groups of services - I found a link to Manufactured Trailers under Resources. I will pass on to that team that it was not the easiest to find on the page.

Again, thank you for the feedback. If the page mentioned doesn't have the info needed please give them a call or contact them via the form.

Cheers,

Gregg

Accessory Horsekeeping rules

krayniakb 3 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago 1

On the old website it was very clear what one needed to know to run a horse lesson business out of one's home property. There was a certain zoning required and also a limit on the number of weekly visits by clients.

Answer
Gregg Turnbull 3 years ago

Hello,

Sorry for the delay - Not knowing where to start I just searched the site for 'horse lesson business' and the first result was: https://www.larimer.org/planning/animals/horses

The second section, Equestrian Operation, appears to be the content you seek - if not, please send me a note and I will reach out to the planning team.

Cheers,

Gregg
