Vehicle Licensing wait times page - No Chat option

kpaulus 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 2

I have Vehicle Licensing wait times page open (in Chrome & IE) and I do not see the 'Chat window'.  Is it missing?  Or, am I not seeing it?

Answer

Good morning Karen,

It is indeed an option on all the vehicle licensing pages, but only appears when a tech is available to answer the call (ie. when a tech logs into chat, the chat option appears).

Cheers,

Gregg

Can't delete page and other web items

stocktkr 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 3

In the process of learning how to create/edit web pages, I have created a few items (test pages) which I cannot now delete.  I deleted them in the Departments > IT site map, but they are still in my "Your Content" screen.  When I try deleting them in the "Your Content" screen, it won't allow me to do it.

Horsetooth Mountain Park Trails Map

anne 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 3

Please bring back the Horsetooth Mountain Park Trails map, at least as a PDF download. The Google map doesn't provide the same level of information.

SVP release into community notification not found on site

hvsmom 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 1

A community notification regarding a SVP release to the community links to the LC Sheriff page for more information.  There is no SVP information on that page and search does not find it.  Please correct this very important information link!

Thank you for the feedback. Here is a response from the Sheriff's Department:

The sexually violent predator bulletin was posted from 8/29 to 9/12 in accordance with state law.  All sex offenders registered in Larimer County are listed on the website at https://www.larimer.org/sheriff/investigations/sex-offender-registration and those deemed Sexually Violent Predators are noted as such.

Great job on the new website!

hqpkhxmib 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 1

It's easy for the self-professed experts in web development to point out the shortcomings of your new website, especially when they are free from having to understand the level of complexity in making it all work together. Your new site is a giant step forward and everyone involved deserves a lot of credit in making this happen.

P.S. Reverting back to the old site is complete nonsense and no "expert" would suggest doing this.

Surveyor info

saratoole 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Dave Seabeck 5 years ago 1

You can't even find the property boundaries records online anymore.  If you search larimer county surveyor, it brings up the Surveyor office website on Google maps, and when you click that -- you get FILE NOT FOUND.   You have stranded a bunch of people!!!.  I suggest you roll the website back -- a good design is nothing without functionality.  It's outrageous.

Incorrect or New Zip Codes?

Debra 5 years ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by mbird 5 years ago 4

Have County PO Box zip codes changed?  If not, the zip code for:

PO Box 1190 addresses should be 80522-1190 (not 80522-2763)

PO Box 1280 addresses should be 80522-1280 (not 80522-2763)

PO Box 1250 addresses should be 80522-1250 (not 80522-2763)
