https://apps.larimer.org/assessor/protest and other apps.larimer.org pages will not load

Scott K 11 months ago in Website (larimer.org) updated by Gregg Turnbull 11 months ago 4

When clicking the https://apps.larimer.org/assessor/protest link, I get a 'refused to connect' error message.  I have tried from multiple browsers with the same result.

Thanks for the feedback Scott - and for checking across browsers (I too am on Mojave) so our environments are the same. If it is something that becomes burdensome in the office I can work with the keepers of whitelists in your org to see if we can become trusted.

Cheers,

Gregg

Interestingly, this seems to work fine from my phone...but that isn't ideal for using that portion of the site.

Hello Scott,

Just wanted to check in to see if you are still getting the the error message on you computer. We are seeing no issues connecting at the moment but could definitely give you a ring to troubleshoot.

If you would like for me to give you a call just send a note to web@larimer.org with you contact details.

Before that you could try to clear browser cache - sometimes that will clear up a refuse connection.

Cheers,

Gregg

I'm assuming some part of the page or resources being loaded is blocked by my employer.  I've tried IE (even after clearing cache, still see a refused message), Chrome, Firefox, and also Safari on my work Mac (on Mojave 10.14.4).  But it works fine from a phone browser bypassing most of the corporate filters.  I wish I had more to tell you - but it just reports as connection refused instead of showing what, if anything, is being blocked on my end.

Thanks for the reply, though.
